I’m seriously thinking about getting a chihuahua

My partner and I would be first time dog owners. We’re both grown up with dogs but as children so our parents were really responsible for the dogs!We want to buy our own dog and I am completely obsessed with the idea of getting a chihuahua!He’s not so much into the idea of having a “mean little yappy dog” around... Is it just a stereo type or are ALL chihuahuas really barky, badly behaved and mean?How easy are they to train? (we would buy a young pup) Can they be taken for long walks despite their size? We live in Canada so the winters are cold and the summers are hot but I insist that we can buy the little dog booties and jackets and he/she would be okay.Please enlighten me on what it’s like to actually own a chihuahua!Thanks!!! via /r/Chihuahua https://ift.tt/2GikmCK #chihuahua
